To provide the highest level of protection for Central City and the surrounding district, the Central City Fire Department maintains a diverse and modern fleet of fire apparatus. Our fleet includes high-capacity pumpers (engines) for rapid fire suppression, aerial platforms for elevated rescue and master-stream operations, and specialized rescue units equipped with advanced extrication tools. Each vehicle is meticulously maintained and outfitted with the latest life-saving technology to ensure that when the alarm sounds, our team has the most reliable equipment available to safeguard our community.

Rescue / Medical Response Unit 

Squad 25 

Squad 25 serves as one of our primary medical response and rescue units. This truck responds to emergency medical incidents and rescue calls throughout our district.

Squad 26 is the twin unit to Squad 25, built and equipped identically to ensure consistent response capability. Together these trucks provide double emergency medical coverage for our community.

2025 Multi-Purpose Rescue Pumper 

Rescue 2 (R-2) 

Rescue 2 is one of our newest and most versatile apparatus. Designed as a hybrid rescue and fire suppression vehicle, it can respond to medical calls, rescue incidents, vehicle accidents, and structure fires.
